Jaimie Smith has had a long and varied career.He has performed in a myriad of styles and contexts, and has also made appearances on television, in theatre and with the MSO. In addition to jazz and brazilian guitar music, the study of flamenco has been a major focus. He is the musical director of the group Sonikete Flamenco and has performed in numerous dance productions (Ayer, hoy y manana, Suspiros de la luna), and is currently adapting the traditional Andalusian songs of Garcia Lorca for a Flamenco dance context.
