Margaret Meyers' interest in Shakespeare and acting began at Melbourne artist and writer Robert Langley's Shakespeare Readings.
She has since played a variety of roles, including Teacher, Convict, Spirit and Psychiatric Patient in Chay Vong Vong - 2I at The St Kilda Writers Festival, Isobel Hartley in Memories, Melodies and Madness at the Carlton Courthouse, Duke Frederick and Hymen in As You Like It at the Stage Theatre in Carlton, Goneril in King Lear with the Australian Shakespeare Company and Clytemnestra in Electra for Renaissance Arts Management. Margaret has also read in fully rehearsed readings with the Melbourne Shakespeare Society, taking the roles of Hermione in The Winter's Tale and the Queen in Cymbeline.
